With 20 years as an Occupational Therapist, Lee is a respected expert witness and lead Case Manager. Lee has broad generalist experience and extensive specialist experience of brain injury and poly-orthopaedic trauma. Lee is adding to her considerable repertoire of skills by studying a Postgraduate Diploma to become an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapy practitioner.

Katie’s 15 years of experience in health and social care has allowed her to generate a wealth of knowledge in the holistic assessment of rehabilitation and care needs. She brings this knowledge to bear in her expert witness work and as a lead Case Manager. Katie has a special interest in wellbeing coaching and stress management where she has further postgraduate qualifications. Katie is excellent at managing to link statutory services with private provision.

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Linda is an established specialist paediatric Occupational Therapist. She works as an independent Expert Witness and has extensive experience as a Case Manager. Linda primarily works with children and adolescents both following trauma and those with mental health issues, learning disabilities, sensory impairments, neurological conditions and autism. Linda’s extensive experience means that she is a sought-after professional supporting both children and their families.

Julia Cornwell

Paediatric Occupational Therapist

As a specialist paediatric Occupational Therapist, Julia has expert skills and knowledge in birth injuries, such as cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and spinal cord injuries. Julia has integrated her academic knowledge – degrees in Psychology and Biology and a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy – with a range of professional experience, from specialist schools to NHS and Local Authorities. Julia’s depth of knowledge and breadth of experience make her well-placed to assess and treat the complex full range of components that impact paediatric therapy.

Nicola Hart

Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Nicola is a specialist paediatric occupational therapist with over 25 years’ experience. She has undertaken extensive training in sensory integration and is a specialist practitioner in the treatment of children with an obstetric brachial plexus injury. An expert in the acute care and rehabilitation of children with life changing birth injuries, Nicola has a skilled understanding of the traumatic impact of these injuries on the whole family unit and the support they need.

Lauren has brought her background in customer services and hotel management to Novo to keep the wheels of the machine turning smoothly. The lynchpin of the office, Lauren is a great first point of contact for just about anything.

Amelia is a Rehabilitation Assistant and works for us as well as studying for a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy. We are delighted to be helping the next generation of exceptional therapists get hands on experience in the field.

Our receptionist, Honey, welcomes everyone into the office with excitement and a wagging tail! You can usually find her with one of an assortment of soft toys that she otherwise leaves scattered around the office. The way to Honey’s heart is a crunchy biscuit or a squeaky toy.

Taicla Giles

Report Productions Assistant and Media Administrator

As the Report Production Assistant and Media Administrator, Taicla works alongside the admin team as well as managing the marketing side of things. She has a three year diploma in photography in addition to her Honours degree in Media and Communication. In her work, Taicla draws on her experiences having lived away from her native South Africa in countries like Canada and now Scotland.

Lynn O'Hare

Functional Capacity Evaluator

Lynn joined in 2020 as a specialist Occupational Therapist and case manager with over 21 years’ experience working in both statutory services and private practice. On top of her extensive skills, she is also a qualified Functional Capacity Evaluator (FCE) and regularly carries out these assessments in our offices or on site near client’s home environment. Lynn is also a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Danielle Murray

Danielle works as a rehabilitation assistant while also studying for her MA Psychology at the University of Glasgow. Having gained experience in customer facing roles prior to becoming a student, Danielle uses her excellent people skills combined with her knowledge of psychological health and wellbeing, to help our clients make progress on their rehabilitation journey.
